Devon's Plans For First Nature School

Hello all of my old companions, I hope you are all well! This week I have heard some very exciting news that will be happening around our Devon holiday parks. The Devon Wildlife Trust have announced their plans to open the South West's first 'Nature School near Okehampton in Devon.

They propose to combine a nursery & primary school aimed at children 3 to 11 years. The Nature School would be a 'mainstream' school, which follows the National Curriculum, but a school which would put outdoor learning and the natural environment at the heart of a high quality education. 

DWT are currently talking to local schools and people in the area to determine support for the proposal and with a strong enough support the plans for the Nature School will proceed. People can register their support for a Nature School on the Nature Schools website. 

Our Devon caravan parks are surrounded by nature and wildlife with the wild green expanses of Exmoor and Dartmoor and surrounding woodland walks you can enjoy whilst looking out on some of the very best sea views in the country.
