Former Masterchef contestant launches website supporting local eateries

Food is a significant part of my life, so the latest food news never fails to interest me. This most recent story has really got my tummy rumbling.

Former Masterchef contestant Dawn Gribble from Ilfracombe is using her love of cooking in an attempt to benefit the region. Fresh out of the Masterchef kitchen, Dawn intends to create a website that would support and aid independent eateries in the local Devon area. The site 'A Taste of Devon' will host food-related competitions, recipes and reviews written by Dawn herself. The food-loving entrepreneur stated “I hope the site will be a really good tool for independent businesses”.

This is great news for the local area, a region that is famous for it's fantastic farming, seafood and fresh produce.
