Marine Wildlife goes into feeding frenzy in Cornwall

Hello my dear friends, this week Cornwall has had its very own spectacular Blue Planet moment. Just a short distance away from Perran View Holiday Park and Tolroy Manor Holiday Park a pod of dolphins, hundreds of sea birds and a minke whale came together in a joint feeding frenzy off the Cornwall coast.

According to spectator Mr Edwards, the majestic feeding frenzy involved over 100 common dolphins, a 24ft long minke whale, a number of bluefin tuna and many seabirds feeding and hunting all of the fish. Mr Edwards said "Once we got closer we could see that there was something special going on. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Definitely a Blue Planet moment!"

The stunning marine life is just one of the many things that attract tourists to go holiday in Cornwall. We have 6 holiday parks along the Cornish coast with many sea excursions available locally you can enjoy sea creatures such as basking sharks, dolphins and whales as well as seals and bids.

We would love to see any fascinating wildlife pictures you have from your UK holidays, please post them to our Facebook page!
