The Milky Way Named #2 Attraction in the UK by TripAdvisor

Hi foxy friends! The summer holidays have only just started and we are already having so much fun with you guys here at our UK caravan parks. Whether it is family fun on our holiday sites or exciting attractions nearby, we are sure that you will not be short of great things to do on your John Fowler holiday.

Speaking of exciting attractions, we are delighted to hear that The Milky Way Adventure Park, located not far from our North Devon and North Cornwall holiday parks, has been awarded TripAdvisor's most prestigious accolade for the 5th year running – the Travellers' Choice™ award. This award is the highest honour TripAdvisor can give and is presented annually to the top 1% of businesses across select categories.

TripAdvisor has also named the Milky Way as the 2nd best Amusement Park in the UK and 10th best in Europe, according to reviewers. The family-run park has been placed just below Paulton Park, but above big names such as Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The overriding aim at The Milky Way has been to create a day out in North Devon that encourages adults and children to spend more time having fun together. The Milky Way offers nearly 2.5 acres of undercover facilities and over 10 acres of outdoor areas, making it one of the regions biggest all weather days out and a great place to visit when you are on holiday in Devon.

Visitors can ride the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster and enjoy the panoramic views, save Planet Earth on Ziggy's Blast Quest and challenge themselves on the huge death slides in North Devon's biggest indoor play area - the Time Warp. The Gravity Rider - at around 30ft tall and 200ft long, is a two lane donut slide and is totally new to Devon and guaranteed to give a fast, fun and exhilarating ride.

There's plenty for smaller adventurers too, including the innovative Little Stars play centre, which is designed especially for babies and pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, dressing up area, role-play pizzeria – and even a pretend car wash. They'll also love the Milky Way railway, and Cosmic Caterpillar mini roller coaster. 

When you visit The Milky Way when you are staying at one of our Cornwall or North Devon holiday parks, you can also enjoy a huge variety of themed events and shows throughout the year including; Merlin from Britain's Got Talent with his fun-packed skills and thrills show, Halloween Hocus Pocus and Santa's Grotto.
