Paxo’s Celeb Watch: Steve-O from Jackass Organises Raft Race in St Ives

In amongst the many visitors exploring St Ives's delights yesterday was a hot off the press celebrity couple, prompting my latest article for 'Paxo's Celeb Watch' series.

He found fame as the front man of MTV's Jackass and she captivated us with her voice and quirky personality on The X Factor. Yesterday Steve-O and Stacey Solomon stepped out together amid a buzz excitement in St Ives, as Steve-O organised an impromptu raft race challenge!  

The couple are holidaying in Cornwall and Steve-O used Snapchat to callout locals and fellow visitors on their last minute UK breaks, for a special DIY raft race.

The MTV star said: "I challenged my Snapchat followers to build homemade rafts and meet up for a raftrace at the beach.”

"12 rafts and hundreds of people showed up - and I won the first of two serious races.”

"Thanks so much to everybody who worked so hard and travelled so far to make that such a good time."

Over the past few days he's used social media to document his mini break, raving about our county in the process. He showed some skills that Freddy would be impressed with amongst the surf, adding: “I wanted to be able to say I went surfing in England”!
