Things to do on a rainy day in Cornwall
Hi Foxy friends! The school summer holidays are full steam ahead and so far we have been very lucky with the weather at our caravan parks Cornwall with lots of sunshine. In true summer holidays fashion the heavens have opened over our Cornwall holiday parks but you can't let that stop you from enjoying your cheap UK family holidays because there is so much to do in Cornwall come rain or shine!
Here are my top things to do for all of the family on a rainy day in Cornwall
If you are staying at St Ives Holiday Village or Tolroy Manor Flambards is just 10 minutes drive away. There is absolutely loads of activities to do rain or shine including; Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz, Chemist Time Capsule, Entertainment on Flambards indoor centre stage, Hands-on science, indoor play and much more.
Get up close and personal with over 1000 of the world's rarest animals at Newquay Zoo, just 10 miles from Perran View Holiday Park. If the animals aren't enough then you can also enjoy activity trails, face painting, a children's play area, a Woodland Walk and Dragon Maze to keep everyone busy.
Head on a voyage through Cornwall's pirating past at Pirate's Quest Newquay where you can experience escaping a shipwreck, walk through 18th century Cornwall to Blackbeard's Tavern and end up at the Captain's Ship, ready to set sail to an exotic Caribbean island.
National Maritime Museum Cornwall
This multi-award winning museum in Falmouth celebrates all things sea, boats and Cornwall. With 15 galleries that take you back to the past, showcase the present and predict the future of Cornwall alongside a number of fantastic exhibitions there is lots to do to keep the family busy.
This family-run farm located in the heart of Cornwall has been making cider for over 30 years. The popular attraction near our Cornwall holiday parks has much more than a brewery, including a fascinating visitors' centre, a tea room, restaurant, farm animals and a tour.
We also have an extensive entertainment programme going on at our Cornwall holiday parks throughout the summer holidays. With Foxy club and J-Teenz club activities happening every day, themed fun days, character dining, sports coaching, free water activities and swimming plus much more. We also have a fantastic summer headline cabaret lineup alongside the magical summer pantomime at our big and lively parks plus kids discos, bingo and game shows that happen every night.
