What to do in Somerset this Christmas time
Hi my foxy friends!!! It's me Trixie! I am getting so excited for Christmas time, I posted my list to Father Christmas from our Somerset holiday park this week and I am sure I am on the nice list!
I will be spending Christmas at the Somerset caravan park and there is loads of exciting things to do around Somerset to get us feeling festive.
Christmas at The Museum of Somerset
Santa will be setting up his grotto in the alms house for visits every Saturday in December, you can also follow the Elf Trail around the Museum in search of the cuddly Christmas Elves. On Saturday 8 December local arts and crafts will be showcased at the Museum's Christmas Market with more than 30 stalls where visitors can find the perfect Christmas gift.
Santa will be opening his traditional grotto at the seafront attraction on Saturday 1 December and will be there every Saturday and Sunday in December from 11am, as well as being there on Friday 21 December and Monday 24 December.
Plus every Sunday, the grotto will open an hour earlier, at 10am, especially for autistic children and young people.
Winter Wonderland at Wookey Hole
There is still time to book a visit to Wookey Hole Caves' action-packed Winter Wonderland programme.
With lights, wrestlers and elves as well as a special visit from Santa, the popular inland resort has thrown open the doors of its Winter Wonderland show â and visitors will not be disappointed. Also new for 2018 is the Christmas Spectacular Circus Show with feats of magic and astounding circus acts from around the World.
Now open every day between now and Christmas Eve, Clarks Village has a whole host of free festive events to get you in the spirit for the most sparkly season of the year including; 1920s evenings, pantomime and Father Christmas and his helpers are taking a break from the workshops and coming to see you at Clarks Village!
From Thursday November 22 to Sunday December 9, the centre of Bath will be transformed into a festive frenzy with over 200 chalets lining the streets surrounding the Roman Baths and the stunning Bath Abbey.
he award-winning Christmas market will be packed full of gorgeous gifts, freshly baked foodie treats and warming mulled wine. There's also the opportunity to meet Father Christmas at his grotto or enjoy a skate on the ice rink nearby.
