Woolacombe Beach retains title as UK’s best!

It's just over a couple of weeks until our holiday parks officially open for the 2016 season – who else is super excited?

Woolacombe Beach, the 3-mile stretch just 10 minutes from our Ilfracombe holiday parks, has just retained its title as the UK's best rated beach in the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards.
Woolacombe takes the top spot for a second successive year despite strong competition from beaches in Dorset, Jersey, Swansea and a host from neighbouring Cornwall.
Weymouth Beach in Dorset took second spot, followed by St. Brelade's Bay Beach, located in on the island of Jersey.
So are you going to be spending time on Woolacombe Beach during your UK family breaks? One thing's for sure, despite it's ever growing popularity and fame, you'll always be able to find a quiet spot for your family amongst the 3-mile stretch of sand and rolling dunes.
