Sandy Glade Wins Gold at Tourism Awards

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our Somerset holiday park Sandy Glade has been awarded the Gold in the Holiday Park of the Year category at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. 

Somerset park manager Warren Friend said "I am completely over the moon to win the Gold award, my team work extremely hard and this just shows that hard work pays off."

Nearly 300 guests from the best tourism businesses across the Bristol, Bath and Somerset attended a black tie dinner and awards ceremony at the Apex Hotel in Bath on Thursday, with sponsors presenting 86 hand crafted awards made by Shakspeare Glass. 

Somerset based organiser Nell Barrington said “last night I was just so excited and proud to be celebrating with these amazing tourism businesses.  The numbers of entries this year has increased by nearly a third so the competition was really tough and it was great to see so many turn out in force to celebrate their achievements.  My congratulations goes out to them all.â€Â
